Bait elastic is one of those simple additions to your tackle kit that solves a genuinely frustrating problem — soft baits spinning off the hook mid-cast, prawns falling apart after the first fish, or pilchards refusing to stay put in the current. Artizan’s bait elastic wraps firmly and stretches with the bait to keep everything locked in place, whether you’re casting at range or fishing in fast-moving water.
Made from wrapped latex rubber at 0.30mm diameter, it’s thin enough to thread and tie without bulk, yet strong and flexible enough to hold through repeated casts and strikes. It’s equally at home on the fly tying bench — useful for securing materials cleanly during construction. Each twin pack includes two 200 metre rolls, giving you plenty of supply for regular sessions.
