Carbon Winch Monkey Fist Coloured Rope Sheath

Carbon Winch Monkey Fist Coloured Rope Sheath

Protect your winch rope in style and stand out on the tracks with the Carbon Winch Monkey Fist Coloured Rope Sheath. Available in high-visibility colours, this sheath isn’t just about looking good; it’s about adding a crucial layer of defense to your synthetic rope.

Whether you’re running the Core Range for weekend touring or pushing limits with TAC gear, a protected rope is a reliable rope when you’re bogged to the sills.

Key Features:

• Enhanced Rope Protection: Guards your synthetic winch line against abrasion, chafing, and sharp edges (like rocks and timber) during technical recoveries.
• High-Visibility Colors: Choose from Orange, Blue, Green, or Red. Perfect for customizing your rig or adhering to the high-contrast safety requirements of our High-Vis commercial range.
• Simple Installation: Easily slide the sheath over your existing rope.
• Secure Fit: Includes custom Monkey Fist heat shrink to lock the sheath firmly in place, ensuring it won’t slip during a heavy pull.
• Prolongs Rope Life: By taking the brunt of the friction, the sheath helps prevent powdering and fraying, keeping your primary recovery line safe and ready for action.

Important Safety Notes:

• Regular Inspection: Always check your rope and sheath for cuts, abrasions, or “chafing” before and after every trip. If the underlying rope is damaged, replace it immediately.
• Sharp Edge Protection: While the sheath provides excellent defense, always use additional sacking or a tree trunk protector if the rope must pass over extremely sharp or jagged rocks.
